Well, most of us have played. RO2 is dull... and gets old :/ and doesn't have any room for customization in regards to builds or even character looks.

Maybe you dislike renewal mechanics? Not sure lol.

RO2 is immensely bland, no way I can devote my intelligence and time to solely one MMO that lacks real uniqueness.

I think they are both equally bland. But I spent 10 years playing RO1 on various servers and they were all equally lackluster to the current RO2. The difference is I spent 10 years getting used to old ro mechanics, and want to try something new.

RO1 was not bland at all... you could customize your character way more... both appearance and build wise. You had WAY more skill combos, WAY more equips with better effects than just +15 str. There were VERY unique and VERY Situational items... then the cards... they made the game. You could be a spellcaster ranger shooting fireballs and jupitel thunder at people with high int... on RO2, you're pretty much stuck between "hybrid" which usually is meh or straight up tank, dps, full support builds with no customization at all everyone will be following the same metabuild bull crap.

I don't mind trying something new, but it has to be ... new. RO2 is a bland generic MMO that is like any other free MMO out there. Nothing sets it apart...nothing unique.

I respect your opinion, but RO1 was at least twice as better... if not a million

I guess after playing it for so long it's just boring to me The customization and the builds are all things I've done a dozen times before, so it's pretty mundane.

But you find people who are better than you so you want to try harder!
